Help & support for Ultimate Edition 3.2

Am i missing it?

Postby elric » Thu Mar 22, 2012 8:40 am

Loving the new Ultimate Edition 3.2 only problem i am having is that i am unable to locate or remember how to add the administration menu?
I have Applications and Places menu but no System/Preferences. What i attempted was to look in Ubuntu Tweek and did not find it... If i remember i had this exact issue in 2.9 and just for the life of me i cant figure out what was needed to add that menu... Anyone have ideas?

Hello elric,
when Ubuntu started using Unity certain things appeared to have changed and been moved around. Some may even have been renamed. Most of the former Preferences and Administration apps, etc are now divided between System-tools via Applications, Other via Applications and Accessories via Applications pull-down menu.
I am quite sure this is more to do with Ubuntu than TheeMahn. Everything you should need is still there but you may have to search for something specific. It's a pain ,I know, but I believe this is what they call the " Price of Progress." ;)
All that I am or seem is but a dream within a dream.
