e17 keeps crashing

Hi, I am a big fan of e17 but when I installed it and hover the coursor over the other tap in the menu I get the white box of death telling me that it had to stop. Anyone else have this problem? Any fixes? Much obliged thanks!!

OK my experience with E17 is a bit limited, but it always felt buggy to me. What version of Ultimate Edition are you using?

Ultimate Edition 3.2.

I have tried every E17 distro up and down the pike and the only one I have found that works and is pretty stable is Bodhi Linux 1.3
It is a minimal distro and you have to add virtually every thing to it but it just plain works! Give it a spin.

tried sabayon E17 lastnight, but no joy, it kept rebooting randomly after a few mins of usage
e17 however did look promising

It's just got more bugs in it than the amazon. Whatever happened to e16? That was awesome!!

just to see what would happen i installed E17 on Ultimate Edition 3.0.1 so far so good
no crashing...yet!

I use Ultimate edition 3.2, and it crashes when I hover over the other submenu.

Remove your old E
install this ppa
http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q= ... XA&cad=rjaopen terminal sudo apt-get update
open synaptic search e17, install all the modules except the one that wants to remove gnome network manager (cant remember right now) log out and in to ether enlitenment or E-17 ecomorph, set up as wanted ! . . . . . . Or wait for Ultimate -E
