Conky

Help & support for Ultimate Edition 3.2

Conky

Postby aL1 » Tue Mar 20, 2012 3:48 pm

I just installed a conky I found on the internet, but the default conky that is included with Ultimate Edition 3.2 loads on the desktop as well-

Where is the default conky located, or how can I disable or delete it?

Thanks-

Oh yeah, Ultimate Edition 3.2 rocks!

(I timed-out, so sorry if this double-posted)

UPDATE: I overclock my rigs cpu 33% over stock, so monitoring core temps is necessary...so after struggling for hours with limited success to install a decent app to monitor cpu temps, I decided to roll-back to Ultimate Edition 2.6.5...

Ultimate Edition 3.2 may still be in my rigs' future...time will tell-

Code: Select all
sudo apt-get remove --purge ultimate-conky-builder

You will no longer have the hardware detection that it provides. I do intend to add cpu temps as provided by lm-sensors. grep if a value of 0 is gained no hardware support do not insert into .conkyrc I have big plans for conky builder, I would say it is less then half done.
