Billie-- I networked my printer under Ultimate Edition 2.9 64 bit and it worked like a charm. The discovery and setup were so easy my English Springer could do it. Then I went to Ultimate Edition 3.2 and got a real good lesson in patience.

I do appreciate the suggestions and the moral support. All of it sounds like the voice of experience to me as I am certain each of you have had issues with Linux in the past. As for those who like to tease me, trust me, I do not take offense. As the adage goes, "If you can't take the teasing, then don't dish it out", God knows I have dished out more than my fair share.

Again, thanks for the moral support and suggestions - I do appreciate it. Have a fabulous evening!

I got my printer working! I went into Synaptic Package Handler and did a search for "printer KDE". I loaded "system-config-printer-KDE" and switched my windows manager to KWin. After re-logging in, I went into Applications/Other/System Settings and clicked on "Printer Configuration". This is the same interface I used under Ultimate Edition 2.9 and it took no time to set up my printer. It works just fine now and I'm happy about it.

Thanks again to all for the support and suggestions! 8-)
