i try to install it. but this version cann't to start with my hardware gpu. lightdm dontstart. in terminal use "journalctl -xb" and "dmesg" - read "i havn't any gpu device". so its a very the best of the best os linux )))) which dont find my videocards - then i kill this lol system.
my gpu is
xubuntu@xubuntu:~$ lspci |grep VGA

on ubuntu 16.04 and other OS i have a good fly when start iso for install and after installing - have good run os - because lightdm service start with out any errors. and other gui Gnome KDE etc/

Please open /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ultimateedition.list and deactivate the “proposed” repository

The danger is over.
After mintupdate now you can install again newer Kernels.
I recommend to remove the graphic driver first, otherwise the desktop may be displayed too large after a restart.

Downloaded and installed it works great although did miss emerald but have installed it into my setup and am using the Azenis green desktop and Cryo64-Genises- mixed icons with it along with Gkrellm and Cairo-dock both of which i prefer will try to post a picture later. I have now also installed a few things from a old version of Extrema Linux 7.2 so I have named my computer as UltaMint Extreme. Although mine is different I appreciate yours and Thee Mahns alterations and have used them a s a base. Thanks you Both.
