hi guys does enybody tell me how to change my language in black opal from english to greek i have added the greek language but icant mark it to install.

Open Language Support

Then Pull you greek language above english.. or place it to topmost position.

Then click on apply system wide Button.

Reboot.

i have already installed greek language but the language wont show up in the list so i cant choose it.

Try this and see if it generates you locale..
Type in terminal
Code: Select all
 sudo locale-gen

When I installed the Greek language I got Chinese. Like..I thought I had a solution, was going to reinstall any ways..but..nope..Chinese. Curious if anyone came across this, if you have Black Opal, you can install the language without changing it. I thought it might be easier to do through terminal but I am not sure where to find the list of languages in code, like fr

There was also a problem installing language due to the gimps otto repo.

it seems it wont generate the greek language how can i fix it?

dear blackwolf thx for the reply.Iam greek and i have installed the greek language but i cant find it in the dropdown list.After that i uniinstalled it and install it again but in the details window i saw unpacking failed no such file or directory.It seems it is a bug in ubuntu 12.04 or what else can i do?For me it is not a prob to continue working in english but my kids may have because i want them trying to work with linux.
