Hey,

I installed fedora 17 to "test Drive" Gnome 3.4, as I am struggling to get it to run on Ultimate 3.4.

Gnome 3.4 works extremely nice. That said, it cannot beat Ultimate with out the box experience....

-Installation went fine, albeit the partitioning tool is a bit tiresome and too involved for a newby experience.
-No extra apps installed, ie LIbreOffice had to be downladed seperately and installed.
-No MP3 playback by default...
-just to name a few, I might be nit picking, but if we want to get windows users over to Linux, these are the things they dont want to do....

that said... not a bad OS.
