The following is common sense, however I will still post it...

1) This forum is not for abusive, threatening, upsetting behavior. Please treat people on this forum with respect as you will get the utmost respect from our staff, and while we do allow free speech, don't let things get out of hand. A golden tip on how to handle rude or aggressive members is to post a fair and explained view from your side, then state you are no longer going to participate in that particular conversation. This leaves you in a dignified manner and will help stop any future conflict in that topic.

2) You may not post or relate to anything illegal inside the U.S. This includes but is not limited to the following:

[*] You may not post anything pornographic or unsuitable for people under 18 years old.
[*] You may not post any copyrighted material, without the proper permission from the author or publisher.
[*] You may not post warez, hacking related software, hacking tools, software downloads.

3) Don't do anything that could get Ubuntu Software Network in trouble, or may get this website shut down and everyone will lose out. Just use your common sense.

4) You may only have one account on Ubuntu Software. There is no point in having multiple ones as they will not give you any more access than your other accounts. If you want your username changed you can simply ask an administrator to do that for you. Don't confuse us by making more than one account.

I'm happy to be here as I have long looking for the right replacement for windows. I think after trying dozens of distros over a period of years I've finially settled on Ultimate. I have a lot of questions but I'm still puzzled on how to begin a topic and make posts so I'm starting here hoping someone would take me under their wing and guide me along.
