Like I said, I'll try vmware player soon and post back. I'm not going to partition anything! That is old technology. I have found a way to test out operating systems from the .iso file without installing anything. I am downloading the .iso file again. I don't give up easily!

I downloaded the .iso file again and it works! I'm a stubborn s.o.b.

It was probably just a corrupt file. It also works in VMWare Player as well as Virtual Box.
My landlord is going to be installing a Linux os soon so maybe he will give it a try.
