I would like to enhance an audio recording a friend needs. Basically, you can hear the voices on the recording, but not very clear. What I would like to do is amplify the two voices on the audio file so you can hear the voices clearly without running the volume all the way up and press your ear on the speaker. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help at all!

its not all about how loud the volume is check how far the mic is amplified, you would also need a really good mic for this to work i even have background noise using my Shock one headset.
also try playing around with Audacity you may be able to tweak the setting for better sound
