I find the directions a tad cryptic for this os.

I've come to the conclusion that FreeBSD just won't install in VMWare or VirtualBox. There is very little support for it out there.

Sometimes you just have to give up. However, on the up side, I got Ultimate installed in VMware player without a hitch!
