Ultimate Edition Forum

I downloaded and burned a 3.0 Lite DVD. Upon trying to boot the live system it stopped at what appeared to be a log in. How do I circumvent this so that I may run the lice DVD? I am not sure on installing it yet as I am holding out for Ultimate Edition 3.0. THANK YOU for yoru time and consideration.

sudo lxdm

You should post your computer specs, especially video card or chipset. That way the problem can be figured out.

BTW...I know the fix of starting lxde manually has been mentioned in many different forums/topics/etc. Is someone collecting specs, or even requesting them, so that the issue can be resolved? Maybe a running speadsheet to start looking for similarities? Willing to help.
