Wireless Network auto connection

Help & support for Ultimate Edtion 3.0

If you can't manage to get going with Amir's advice then you might have a driver problem.
I had problems when 3.0 beta came out and used one of the Windows drivers off my Windows disk that came with the wireless USB. You might have to try a couple till you get the right one to work (that is either XP, Vista or Win 7 depending upon which drivers are available for your card). You could also try a wireless USB like I did. They don't cost much and the latest one I bought for an old Dell desktop works just fine.

Anyways, the problem may be the same with your set-up. Go to the System\Admin menu and down to Windows Wireless Drivers and see how you go from there. Oh, you will probably have to extract the drivers using Windows to get the .inf files.

Good luck.

try this, right click on network icon, edit connections, wireless, click on your network name, edit, enter password, at the bottom there is a box called " available to all users", check that, apply, close...

i found that to work in most cases, :D

The portable (T505) works with WiFi (wireless) on V.3.0 and previous Versions of Ultimate Edition. (and other Linux versions)..
It works on Windows on wireless
I am running it on V3.0 now and it works great..
Appears to need a driver update or a kennel update ???? to work with V3.0.1 ??? But can't --- I have NO wireless connection.
I will install V3.0.1 on it again... when I can connect it to the router the other two computers are on (They work great on Wired)
Then update the drivers.and see what happens. .
Thank you very much for the help

V3.0 and V3.2 work great with my portable.
V3.01 wont make a wireless connection on my portable.
Others also having wireless connection problems with V3.01.
It appears that something has been done on V3.01?
My wired computers work great on V3.01.
SO! I won't fight it anymore.. I will use V3,0 or V3.2 on the portable.
Have a nice day. Thanks
