2.6.2 cursor

OK, installed the new updated 2.6.2, and have the ugly black cursor... ok there were fixes, I googled them, installed them, and still have the ugly black cursor which will not change. Ideas?

Pick the cursor you want in

User/share/icons

Copy the files in the folder as root.

Backup the folders default - DMZ white and - DMZ black

Now replace the files with your wanted pointer with ones in them 3 folders .

Restart and done.

OK I opened one of the icon folders at random, and there are no cursor files in one.

usually a link to your home folder .icons there.

That also needs removed and replaced with files from picked pointer theme.

Don't want to confuse anybody else hoping to correct the cursor issue...

OK I think I got it, something I had to google was how to open folders as root.

Alt F2 "gksudo nautilus"

...and it's still a bit funky. I like the additions TheeMann made in 2.6.2, but this is a bit irritating
