Well, Xubuntu installed and connected to the Internet straight after I entered my password and continues to connect every time.
What is different between Xubuntu and Ultimate Edition 3.0 Lite that won't allow the wireless connection on Ultimate Edition 3.0 Lite?
I did try to follow through of another post about the b43-fwclutter 9already installed) and the firmware-b43-installer (not present) in Synaptic.
So to me it looks like the firmware-b43-installer package might be the rascal that is stopping me from having a connection through Ultimate Edition 3.0 Lite.
What do you guys think? I see it is available in Synaptic in Ultimate Edition 2.9 which I am using here on another machine but, it is not installed although b43-fwclutter is.
