HI all, I downloaded the 2.9 live DVD. It boots into Gnome however I want to try the XFCE version. When I logout of Gnome and try to log into the XFCE version I do not know the User and Password. Can you tell me what it is.
I searched and searched and searched this site but cannot find it.

Create a new user when it loads and then switch user, don't log out.
at least thats what I do.
minimum of 1 GB of ram required to do this.
if your wanting to do it live like that and log out live user.
Persistence will need to be on and a user created at first load. In other words changes are permanent in live.
