Hello!! I posted this on the ubuntu forums, but since this is specifically for U.U. I decided to give it a try, here's the thing; I have installed the U.U. 1.4 gamers and after restarting, it keeps asking me to install the video drivers and flash and acrobat, i already did that it was not the live version. besides that, everything else works like a charm, hope I can solve this today, so that monday I can show of the new OS at my friends

Thanks a lot!I've been poking around a little, and you wouldn't believe the laughs when I found the Goonie's game!
I promise I don't give too much trouble  once I've learned... but I need to update firefox since it's constantly crashing and wish to update openoffice, but don't know how to do it, in synaptics there's only 2.2.0 of OO and 2.0.0.6 of firefox. Please help, don't know why but I can't log in on the forum of ubuntu... keeps bouncing back
Look at me by the other hand, tomorrow I'll install the U.U. 1.4 gamers to a friend 8-)

Hi I am going to give the Ultimate Edition 1.4 gamers edition a try. I have an AMD64 x2 4800. My question is when 1.6 arives (which I am looking forward to) will I be able to upgrade to that and keep the 64bit usability or will it need a fresh install.?

Cheers
TC

I currently have no plans on making a 64 bit edition of 1.6 of course subject to change, so I would say no at this point.
