Banshee crashes (SOLVED)

installed banshee but as soon as i open a song it will close the program. I figured i would try songbird instead but I get this message ( An apt-based error occured and installation was unsuccessful )
I noticed that when i try to install anything from ultimatix I get the same error message

Question ? Are you running Ultimate Edition 2.8 ALPHA or is this an issue with Ultimate Edition LITE ? :ugeek:

maybe this will help with what is going on. I installed rhythmbox using package manager and it will not play any song at all. the only player that works is VLC. i did install the restricted extras from ultamatix also

did a fresh install and nothing in ultimatix will install. I get the same error that i had last time

got it going now had to install gstreamer0.10-alsa 0.10.30-2 then rhythmbox worked fine. before it had no sound. automatix is working fine also with no issues dont know about it i guess it had a automechanic :lol:
now I am enjoying the lighting speed of this system
