Backspace button not working ?

And i wonder why when i press Backspace button page is not going back page in firefox like it does in windows version.
I also wonder why none of (or so i think) dialogues with Yes No Cancel Next Quit respond to keys like they do in windows.
I also wonder why in each application (or so i think because it seems every dialog is coded by different person) button Yes or OK or NO or Cancel are always not in the right place.
No i dont mean OK must be on left and Cancel on right, what i mean is that they switch sides once in a while depending on the application or the dialogue.

Yes i understand that Ubuntu is not windows, i just want to know if there is a way to make those work. :geek:

Open firefox type:
Code: Select all
about:config

in the addy bar.

In the filter bar type:
Code: Select all
browser.backspace_action

Double-click on the item in the list and change the value to 0.

You should be able to set all actions to the keys you want.
