ATI issue

For some reason, my computer actually acts better without the drivers provided by ATI, although I cannot install the drivers from the hardware drivers thing. It started acting choppy when I installed them when i was playing a video and just moving it across the screen or just scrolling on a webpage, and when I removed the ATI drivers it started acting like I wanted it to again. But I would still like to be able to use compiz effects. I'm using an ATI Radeon HD 5770. and I believe I have catalyst version 10.6

Hello Killer boi .
you will have to wait for the Release from the xorg +the new Catalyst for the new package.
This will solve the issues with ATI+Nvidia Cards.
