Adding Wallpaper Slideshow in Gnome

Postby kghosh22 » Thu Jul 15, 2010 12:13 am

If you want to create Wallpaper(Background) Slideshow, head over to -

http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/ ... a0c12709bc

add the repository ppa:crebs/ppa to your sources list, update and install crebs.

Follow instructions from the website to create the slideshow, wallpapers can be found at -
/usr/share/wallpapers, drag and drop as required, root access not necessary. Save your slideshow with a suitable name.

Warning : the application is still a bit raw, eg. does not edit an existing slideshow, you have to save it with the same name after editing (saved slideshow will be at /home/user_name/.crebs/)

Enjoy.
