Manage the Springboard of your iPod / iPhone using Linux

Hello Ultimate Edition Community

Today, I will show you, how to manage your Springboard using Linux.

32-Bit PC with Ultimate Edition 2.4 or higher (Ubuntu karmic or higher based Distros):

0,5. (only for users of karmic based distros e.g. Ultimate Edition 2.4, 2.4 Gamers, 2.5)
Add the following repo: ppa:pmcenery/ppa

1. Install the iPod touch / iPhone support:
sudo apt-get install gvfs gvfs-backends gvfs-bin gvfs-fuse libgvfscommon0 libgvfscommon-dev ifuse libimobiledevice0 libimobiledevice-utils libimobiledevice-dev

2. Install this package:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/ihack/ ... b/download

3. Reboot

4. Plug in your iPod / iPhone and wait until Ubuntu detect it as a digital music player.

5. Run sbmanager and enjoy

3. The following you must enter in a terminal:
git clone http://git.$#!%.com/sbmanager.git
cd sbmanager
./autogen.sh
make
sudo make install
