(yeah I know, it's an intrepid repository, but the version of electricsheep in here is up to date)
1.2) Add the key for the PPA

Then open your gnome screensaver, select electricsheep, Then a image of a white sheep should appear, Close out screensaver, Go about what you were doing, Grab a beer or make a sandwich, it will take a little bit to download new sheep, Now open screesavers again and wait for your new flock to appear !!! I have installed this on all of my installs (7) (including lucid) and only had one not work (
