libreoffice

Postby everton » Wed May 18, 2011 11:37 am

I am using libreoffice but having a little problem here. Whenever I use to open a document, it goes dark for a while before opening. Also, whenever I type in a blank document, it freezes. How can I resolve this issue?

Thanks,
Everton

thats not a libre office issue, it's a RAM issue. I have that when I open any app with too much going on in the background.

Try this

system/preferences/startup applications.

uncheck boxes for things not needed at startup.

Restart and post a screen shot of free ram after boot.

Then try it.

If this is on your hp pavilion dv7-1245dx listed.

Problem is going to be something else I am thinking.

4 GB is more then ever needed. This would only be the problem with 1 GB systems.

I would say update the system fully along with libre.
