I used NTFS configuration tool to mount only Storage partition but it mounts all windows partitions. When I want to unmount, then I get a message that only root can unmount?
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Just open a Terminal, and type:
- Code: Select all
ls -al /media/
Look for the name of the mounted drive, then type this:
- Code: Select all
su umount /media/XXXX
where XXXX is the Name of the mounted drive from the previous command. You must supply the password (usually the same one you use to Login) to complete this task.
You will need to remove that drive from the NTFS Configuration Tool, Advanced Configuration , or at least remove the check mark next to it, in order for it NOT to mount on the next boot.
Let me know if this resolves your problem...
