I had a program to extract audio from videos in windows. Do we have any such program in Linux?

Thanks Admin-Amir for reply. When we have video with audio, we can extract the audio portion from the video. E,g any music video.. If we want the audio portion to be played in mp3 players.

If I gut you right then like you down from youtube and you want just the mp3 from the clip?
The the Answer is install soundconverter/sound converter.
The are some Dependencies that you need to install with the software.
Then you can point to the clip=>load it=>change to convert to mp3=>save the place you want it.
