i have tried numerous times trying to get UE2.7x86 to install in VB but to no success. is anyone one else experiencing this?
I have tried different ISOs and even burnt to disk a few times. Installed xp without any problem.

Ill download 2.7,and try to install it....Got a hunch that if you put er guest os's on a partition with a ext3 file system it will work.
Or if you upgrade the kernel it might work.

Hello DaringSoule.
well I did not had any issues with the Oracle VBox.
I have add 20 GB for the installation of U.E 2.7 and all want just fine.
I have add 64 MG ram for the Video Card,453 M for the ram.
All want fine ,
Just Disabled the mouse Integration on the VBox right in the Bottom right (right click Disable integration).

dont worry about it i am going to go in thru chroot.. will probably work better anyway for editing. Am having same problem with peppermint. (saw a guy that said he liked it better than Ultimate and had to see for myself, and that guy was definitely delusional.) so later i will mess with that. but thanks for the help.

I did try to install it...ten times.I broke the golden rule,and didn't check the checksum of the download
