Installing over Ubuntu 10.04

I have Ubuntu 10.04 x64 installed on a 1 TB disk partitioned in / , /home and /swap. I need a step by step tutorial that teach me how to install Ultimate Edition 2.7 over it leaving my /home partition untouched. Help!!! I want to change to Ultimate Edition 2.7 x64. :roll:

Hello elboy71 .

we do not recommended to do that.
The better way will be to back up all what you have on your home out from your machine,
Then use parted magic to format your HDD to UNALLOCATED.
Then make clean installation of Ultimate Edition
This will be the best way to install the U.E 2.7.
After the installation you can add all your back up to your home and all good.
