Help & support for Ultimate Edition 2.7

Installing over 2.6

Postby chipps » Sat Jun 05, 2010 5:03 pm

I have a decently customized Ultimate Edition 2.6 install with separate / and /home partitions. If I reformat root and don't format /home, can I just install 2.7 over top of my existing setup or will that cause issues...

I figured since it was based on 2.6 with all updates, it might work given my setup, but good point... I'll try a remastersys of my existing setup first in case something borks.
