FLASH! Wouldn't it be cool?

Help & support for Ultimate Edition 2.7

FLASH! Wouldn't it be cool?

Postby mng519 » Sat Jun 05, 2010 10:41 am

Sure would be nice to see firefox preinstalled with the flash plugins that it needs to view most websites out there these days. Flash has become a staple, and it's free, not sure why browsers aren't already installed with it. Anyhow, just a thought, maybe 2.7 could incorporate this novel idea, no? Keep up the great work.

I couldn't agree more, Not only Firefox, but after I manager to get all the usable browsers flashed (Chrome and sometimes Opera) I can't for the life of me get Flock to flash (along with Yoono). Ubuntu Tweaks can install flash, but for some reason I can't get the... well  anyway yeah it would be so nice :D

I can not pre-install flash for you, yes it would be nice. Would you like to see me going to court over copyright infringements? It is the license agreement that prevents me from doing such, they are not the only one. Do you enjoy your Java as well thanks and welcome aboard Iced Tea. Do not think an open source alternative for Flash is not in works. I will provide it for you then and only then. Does Ultamatix not allow you to install it?

I do know what is up and will work in the best interest of our users.

Sorry if I sounded like a dick. I have been battling many a issue & this is indeed one.
