Hello, I have the graphics crash problem when installing or running live with 2.9 or 3 Gamers. I'm using Nvidia GT240 in a machine I just want to keep for Linux.
I found this post,
http://forumubuntusoftware.info/viewtopic.php?f=72&t=6022&p=59993&hilit=nvidia+cards#p59993

Which suggests using f6 and nomodset. Great it worked I could run live, then I clicked install, all went well until reboot, graphics crash again. Tried recovey mode, safe graphics mode, then "run Ubuntu in low graphics mode for just one session, but when I click Ok it just jumps back to the previous menu, tried other options but can't get any further.
Anyone got any ideas?
