I am using Ultimate Edition 2.6, on T2330 1.6 Ghz processor, 1GB mem, 160 GB hard disk dual boot with win-xp, and my Ultimate Edition partition is about 40 GB with swap partition of 1.8 GB.
On a fresh install too Firefox loads very slow sometimes so slow that I would click once again to get the "Firefox already running"
Is it something that I have not configured right. Please help.

Hello sasha1594 & welcome to the U.E Forum.
FF after the installation in on the old version,
So after you will Update/upgrade your system FF will have update/upgrade and will work faster.
you can use swiftfox/Chromium/opera.
