Ok you don't have sensors setup yet. I was planning on adding that this morning.

See this post for installing the sensors

Agreed.
I'll move my question to the Ubuntu Tweak thread where it belongs.

2hot6ft2.

well there is no need to do it - As Thee have install it in Advanced for the users.
you have to consider that not all the PPL has the same machines, not the same ram on the machine and so on.
And I'm sure that Thee Build it as you see from screech,
with the script to get it work in the easy way.
We do not want to have some Ubuntu smart A$# that will mess with it like with the x splash...
So not all the PPL need /want it on the Desktop - you have to think about it too right,
This is the choice of the user to start it or not/ to have it OR not - part of the open mind and source.

Yes, I know. Thee was here with us in the first few posts when we started adding the how to start it from the menu and how to have it start at boot.
Yes it greps to gather the info for the script. Its' a work of art.
The script just creates the .conkyrc file it doesn't install anything. It's real short and sweet take a look at it.
I know that lm-sensors are not installed by default and configured. I had to install them, and the script is calling on them for the data. That's all. If they don't want them then they wouldn't be running the script to call on them right?

I agree it's all about choice and many people are into conky to the point of addiction. Conky related threads are some of the longest threads there are on the ubuntu forums. ;)

See
Post your .conkyrc files w/ screenshots (currently 1260 pages long)
Conky Weather Forecast Python Script (currently 199 pages long)

Not to mention smaller threads here and there. <BREW>
