Hey Amir,

It's been two weeks, what's up? I'm having some issues with 2.5 lately (Vlc broken, other stuff), but I don't want to waste time fixing them if I'm just going to be upgrading. Soon, I hope.

Max, Lucid only went public on Thursday. I think it's a compliment to TheeMann and the rest if the team that you think that they can have a full blown distro ready in one day. Admittedly they have been working on it since it went Alpha, but it still takes time to iron out last second bugs and to get it up on the servers.

This version is SLICK! Thank you to all those that are involved with this project and making it the best OS. Even when I was installing the OS from a flash drive the systems is very responsive and boot time was minimal (and only got better when I installed it on the hdd).

The download was quick and the installation might have taken less time. It is great to see that in this version compiz is working out of the box on two monitors (all that had to be done was to turn mirroring off). During the installation process I was slightly amused to see that the completion was at 200%. This is the best version yet and as always I am looking forward to seeing how this team can top the current version in the next release!
