we have the same log in, scroll click right and you will see 4 options.
just your themes are Dark and I have the 2.8 themes.

Please give a visual tutorial.I am not finding it. .I have right clicked at every option and still i am getting not any option.

the option in your Log in are correct!
There is nothing there to do , just chose the up option and you done.
the only thing that I can think about is the themes OR to Reinstall the Desktop from synaptic.

You need the gdm2 setup.

Before this, in month of may when i first ventured out to explore "what is" linux (i did not had any knowlegde of it),i had installed slackware(i will hate this forever).After installation i had a small problem,(When i installed,i was bit lost),and so went on the slackware forum and asked the question(it was noob question,i feel to say here).But within hours i had to leave the forum,as i my question was mocked,bashed and then trashed.

so i downloaded and installed fluxbox, cant get it to load the apps with it i'd like at start( ill figure this one out)
i can get them to load with alt-f2 so no worrys there. but now i have yarssr running 2 instances in my gnome desktop this i cannot figure out how to get it back to just one loading. in the system/preferences/preferred applications i only have one instance showing. how can i fix it?

open system/preferences start up Applications and see if there are two yasser's there.

nope there was only one so i de-activated it, restarted and it was gone only 1 yarrsr on my panel so all good now ty for the help.
