Help & support for Ultimate Edition 2.6

i just got one: the Creative card. my ATI GraficsCard seems to have a HDMI connection and Ultimate Edition identified it as soundcard. and what this Intel Card is all about... well i dont know :D and no my motherboard does't have any onboard card. so im a bit confused^^ but everything seems to work now: Sound and Microfone.

2.7 fresh installation? well uff ive just installed 2.6 and i'm happy that it works as i want it to work (g15, sound+micro, programs, wine, amarok and so on :>).
well i think about it and thanks.

just if someone have the same problem as i have: you could copy the "/lib/modules/2.6.32-22-generic/kernel/sound/" folder from a liveDVD back to your system - it worked for me.
then you can see with "hwinfo --sound" what modprobe command you need to use - my was "sudo modprobe snd_ctxfi".

I don't blame you, once you have it setup like you want it no sense in starting over for at least a month right...
Glad you figured it out, and beats me as to why it shows 3 audio devices.

Sounds like when a car is messing up. It never does it when the mechanic is there to see or hear what's going on. I think you'll like 2.7, and hopefully it will fix the issue for you.
