Not able to setup dual monitors with my Radeon 5770 card

Postby darkyPrince » Sat May 01, 2010 5:39 pm

Hello Guys!

I purchased a new moniter today, so that i can have 2 monitors connected to my Radeon 5770 graphics card. My graphics card has 1 DVI slot, 1 HDMI slot & 1 Display port. I've connected my new monitor (which takes a VGA input) in DVI slot(Used a DVI - VGA adapter). For the second monitor i used a HDMI-VGA cable. After connecting i started the machine with "Ultimate Ubuntu 2.5" and tried to change the setting in Catalyst Control Center, but it did not detect my second monitor :? . With this post i've attached pictures so that u guys understand the situation better.

Am i using the right cable to connect the 2nd monitor? Can anyone help me with this ?

Thanks & Cheers,

Sanjay
