New on Ultimate Edtion -[SOLVED]

First i say hello to all , i new Here

Yesterday i download ultimate edition 2.5 after boot it from CD , i just install my Nvidia Driver and Activate Extra Effects on Visual Effects , now i Want know where i must active it fully ? i saw in youtube many Amazing on Ultimate Edition 2.5
Like Fire when close window and etc ....

you can take A look on the compiz forum to see some more option and Games with the software.
about the Driver of the Nvidia if it was install from the Hardware Drivers you all done with the Card.
BTW- you have Guide for the system under=>System=>Help & support.
And you can see under the How To section more Guides for the Ultimate Edition

Thanks for Quick reply , i search many on here and Google , but kindly i cant understand how activate all effect on my Ultimate Edition . im correctly boot from CD And install my NVIDIA Driver , and i Check Extra on Visual Effect and it Enabled , Now i must Check other Things ? i think when i push ALT+CTRL+Down i must see Cube but nothing happen , or when i close windows it must be fire and etc ...

Like amir said, look for compiz....many posts here on how to get this going, this is where all the special effects are controlled, in order to see the cube and other effects compiz must be turned on...don't forget to look through the HOW-TO section(or search there) if I remember right there are how to on compiz

Hello KherKhere.

Let's try to make some order quickly for you.
First to get the cube you need to change two elements.
The first change the number of your workspaces 2 - 4.
Change your workspaces number done by standing with the mouse on the two windows in black lower right - right-click the window - and change the properties from 2 - 4.
Then go to system - preferences - and change the desktop wall to - Cube + Click to select the option to rotate the cube.
You should allow the minimal windows effect .

Hello, i installed Ultimate Edition after my windows kept crashing.. I would like to thank all the hard work that went into making Ultimate Edition. I was a little scared at first but I made the switch. No worry's as of now...

My question is this my update manager is asking to update to the ubuntu 10.4 lucid edition or something .. could someone please help me with this or does it just upgrade the kernal and that is it.. or please explain for the very freshman on linux, i'm getting a lot better with linux now but its a little hard at first to know what to do but i'm getting it..

back to my questions.

1. update manager wanting to update to Ubuntu 10.9 lucid or something like that
2. How to mount my internal extra drive on startup or auto and stay mounted while Ultimate is running

My Specs:
AMD PROCESSOR
2 GIG RAM
MOTHERBOARD: K8U-X
VISIONTEK RADEON HD VIDEO CARD
FINALLY GOT THE ON BOARD SOUND TO WORK.

Just trying to remember all the specs by memory.. hopefully after a few months i will be able to fix someone's problems.. LOL.. Try is the key here...
