back to my questions.

1. update manager wanting to update to Ubuntu 10.9 lucid or something like that
2. How to mount my internal extra drive on startup or auto and stay mounted while Ultimate is running

My Specs:
AMD PROCESSOR
2 GIG RAM
MOTHERBOARD: K8U-X

The upgrade shown will take you to 10.04 Lucid, but NOT the Ultimate version.

My suggestion would be to wait (not for too long!!) and Ultimate 2.6, based on 10.04 Lucid, will be available for download.

The wait will be worth it!!

TheeMahn has been working on Ultimate 2.6 for a while now, and a Beta has been available to mods/admins for testing. From reports back, the release of Ultimate 2.6 in 32bit and 64bit is not far away.

Be patient, ignore the upgrade presented by your system, and keep an eagle eye on the Forum....you WILL be advised when the new release is available.

Cheers
