I got a few folder of music that I ripped when there wasn't a internet connection around. How can I identify the songs? What program? It would be nice if it could rename the songs for me too ;)

Hello Jeahavee.

For your Question with what software you have made the ripping of the Files?
You have to look at your Home/to were ever you have send the Files / to what Path stored it.
If you will look on the software that you have made the ripping with just look for the Path of the store.
Probably you will find your Files there as well.
and to Edit the Files you can use the easy tag for the Editing.

I've had a lot of luck with Musicbrainz Picard - available via Synaptic.

It depends on what medium you ripped from, An original artist CD will have all the info on it and when ripped will give that info Name of song, album, ext. If ripped from a mix or home made play list this might not be the case and you will have to name each track ! and all other info input. ;)

Awww yeah it's a mix CD or burned CD. There's this feature on Winamp where it'll auto-find the detail and most of them time it gets it right. I'm at the point where I hear the song and can't tell who singing it and what the title of the song it.

"yeah I like this song"... "I don't know... just this song I like it"
