OK Admin, I got it now. My kernel is updated and I have the new Tweak. One problem is that I was looking for an seperate app called "service pack creator" I didn't realize it was a packagekit gui :idea:

found in gnome-packagekit which I didn't have installed. Anyway, as usual I did everything ass-backwards, but everything looks good now. I have never fooled around with packagekit before, but it looks very interesting. Thanks again for the tip. <BREW>

JohnnyG: By the way there is a version of gnome-packagekit for lucid.
