I can not go live cd mode

Help and support for Ultimate Edition 2.5

I can not go live cd mode

Postby geexbox » Thu Mar 18, 2010 6:19 pm

hello, my problem is this:
I have the Ultimate Edition 2.2 Ultimate Edition 2.5 download
I try to install but when running the live cd does not fit, if you load the menu, but does not enter the live cd, not even in safe graphic mode, then try running the ubuntu 9.10 and not something even my adventures with the Ultimate Edition 2.2, only that if ran in safe graphical mode with a resolution of 640 x 480, install it and then fix the xorg to accept the 1280 x 1024, so I suppose it is a incompativilidad with my graphics card is not that is what happens, well the details of my computer are:

Processor: AMD Phenom X3
motherboard: asrock
ram: 4 gb ddr2
Graphic: NVIDIA GeForce 6150
Sound realteck

well then I must also say that I have on my computer Internet
therefore it is the only way I can update my hat formatting, so perhaps you know if it can not form ofline update.

Sorry about my spelling, is that I'm from mexico, and I do not write very good English so I translated with google.

thanks

Hello, I am not sure I understand you, but Ultimate Edition 2.5 needs to be on a DVD, burnt to the lowest speed your burner supports. Please check out the part of the forum for new users to see if any of that info will help you. If this is not the info you wanted, hopefully someone else will come along to help you out better.

dathem thanks for the reply, if indeed it is a DVD, burn it at 4x, and I tried it on another computer with a Pentium 4, 120 gb of hd, Intel graphics card, the computer is brand Lanix, and if she ran for I think that's an error with the hardware of my computer. Thanks again and hopefully I can continue helping

dathem and cell are right....if your download is off you can burn all copy's you want...wont load right...
Here is another piece of advice...you may not have a hardware issue....could even be the brand of disk you are burning....lot's of things come in to play.
2.5 loads good in 2 comps....it does crash...only when I fell on my lappy.... ;)

Hello geexbox.

Please take A look on this post of how to burn your ISO in the right way.
And look on the issue of the checksum=MD5 => the same serial like the original that was publish.
and wait with your burn of the ISO - If there is no match DO NOT BURN the ISO!!
This is the main issue with the Burning ISO.
The ISO is DVD and not CD - this can be your issue with the burn process.
You have to change the CD to DVD option with over burning option.
