Help and support for Ultimate Edition 2.5

messed up my network connections.[SOLVED]

Postby billhedrick » Wed Feb 24, 2010 1:02 pm

OK I learned a lesson, if the webpage says it's unstable, it just might be unstable. I loaded E17 according to the instructions on a website that said this was not stable and it seems to have kludged my network connections. I can't connect either wired or wireless. So I huess I am backing up my profile again and reinstalling...
Any idea when 2.6 is coming out?

Well a reinstall wont hurt....have done many of them... ;)
As far as 2.6 it will not be till April....TheeMahn will not release his Distro until it's perfect...it is still in Alpha...am surprised he even let the Mods and Admin. have it....but we do know that just a simple update will bork our install's...not everyone is testing it.... ;)

I used to have a saying in IT (it didn't inspire confidence so I quit using it) "If it ain't broke, fix it until it is"

BTW, reload went quick and painless!
