I cannot seem to access a couple repositories at astromirror.uchicago.edu

W: Failed to fetch http://astromirror.uchicago.edu/ubuntu/ ... elease.gpg Could not connect to astromirror.uchicago.edu:80 (128.135.4.34). - connect (111: Connection refused)

What are you trying to update ?, Switch repos back to "Main" or "United States" Servers In update manager.

The repo might be updating.Search for the nearest repo using synaptics,and then accept the location.Might cure it.Might not,but is most likely an error on their part not yours.

Some thinking... This happens when I am using my laptop wirelessly at a specific place. I think that it may be betting blocked by the local firewall. I will try it at home and let you know.

yea that was it, it updated fine this morning at work. The firewall at the site I was having problems blocked all the repos
