Xorg is overwhelming my processor!

Postby Monrizzy » Sat Jan 30, 2010 5:32 pm

Hi folks,

I've recently started to experience a problem with Xorg. When I look at the processes I notice that Xorg is taking up 50% of my processor resources. I've uninstalled the FGLRX driver and Xorg is still taking about 35% of processor resources & now I can't use any of my cool compiz settings. Does any body know how I can fix this problem. It's snowing here so I've got nothing better to do than be on the computer. PLEASE HELP!!!!
