One of my many failings is the inability/unwillingness to read and search through the forums. But doing that I solved many of my problems and answered many of my questions. Ultimate Edition is a massive distro, with almost all of the apps you could want, and - as I have learned by reading the forums - odd numbered releases have Gnome, KDE, and XFCE interfaces. I recently easily added LXDE, if you are interested do a search for that here. Frankly I like it a lot! I am glad I have a quick ISP though as a slow one would drive me insane! Keep working this will get easier.
