Hello Monrizzi !
And Welcome !
Glade to see you here !
We at Ultimate Edition see this question very often, And I regret at this point in time, it is not possible to "Upgrade" Ultimate Edition It is recommended you backup you important data, "Home folder" and do a fresh install, as every new Ultimate Edition is a "New" release and not just a re-hash of the last ! TheeMahn
works tirelessly on these releases and because of his devotion to product quality we have the best of the best ! I do know how ever TheeMahn is working on a solution to the "upgrade" issue ! How ever, With "Canonical" changing the base on which Ultimate Edition is built (as well as other popular distros) is based, It would (At this point) be futile to to try and peruse an "Upgrade option " As the base is changing and so will Ultimate Edition !!! (For the Best!) (TheeMahn
will see to that !) I can assure you!
I am sure If it can be done "Thee"
will do it !, But, As I say right now The only way is ==-->Backup++Install = Go forward !
, Really, I have found that once you do it,(May take a couple of times) and find out what you can do with each new install, You find new and better ways of enhancing your layout !
I hope this has answered you question, And please use the "Advanced search" feature, and have a look around, as this is a very popular issue !
Thanks for using Ultimate Edition and I (WE) Hope you are here for a long, long time ! If you should need any help You have some of the very best advisor's at your service !! Ready, And always willing to lend a hand !!
