Nope, not a system file, its more like a system worm that destroy your system/flash drive/all removalable media and floods the drive with lots of .exe files!! Question, why would a system file be a sub directory under your "warez" folder? Not good!!

systems 32 Bits

1. Download a .deb in Adobe web:
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download ... kwaveFlash
2. uninstall old versions (if installed):
sudo apt-get remove flashplugin-nonfree
3. Install .deb:
sudo dpkg -i sudo dpkg -i install_flash_player_10_linux.deb

For systems 64 have 2 options:

- Option 1:

The easy and fast (but not sure) (Not recommended for newbies):
Is simply copy and paste these commands into the console (although it is advisable before running the script to review the code to ensure that it did not change and leave the system vulnerable).

Attention this command downloads the installation script gives execute permission and gives root permissions to install the player. (That's why I suggest carefully review the script before running it)

At your choice:

wget http://queleimporta.com/downloads/flash10_x64_en.sh && sudo chmod +x flash10_x64_en.sh && sudo sh ./flash10_x64_en.sh

- Option 2:

The easy but with more steps (While much safer). (Recommended for newbies):

1. Download the file:
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/labs ... .so.tar.gz
2.Unzip it (Remember to be located in the directory where the file came down):
tar zxvf libflashplayer-10.0.d21.1.linux-x86_64.so.tar.gz
3. Uninstall the old versions (if fitted):
sudo apt-get remove flashplugin-nonfree
4.Copy it to the Mozilla plugins folder:
sudo cp libflashplayer.so /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/

This document was in Spanish and translated it as much as I could. I hope it is good value and will resolve the problems with adobe. Ultimate Edition 2.5 64 Rulez.

I have provided you the correct libflashplayer.so (64Bit) untar and place on your desktop (delete the one you have).
First go to synaptic, search "nsplugin", then mark for total removal "nspluginwrapper" and it will also remove "flashplug-inistaller", If not installed move on, You can do this (as I do on initial install of Ultimate Edition or any Buntu distro), Be sure firefox is closed, open your home folder click "view" and click "view hidden folders" look for ".mozilla" folder, open that, create a folder name it "plugins" place libflashplayer (That i have provided, Untared) in your new "plugins" folder, now your good to go !! close out home folder, Open Firefox and go to your favorite video site (Youtube) and test ! at his point you can tweak at will with the various tweaks you may run across, but always beware, and remember to backup your........ SHHTUFF! <BREW> :ugeek:
