For systems 64 have 2 options:
- Option 1:
The easy and fast (but not sure) (Not recommended for newbies):
Is simply copy and paste these commands into the console (although it is advisable before running the script to review the code to ensure that it did not change and leave the system vulnerable).
Attention this command downloads the installation script gives execute permission and gives root permissions to install the player. (That's why I suggest carefully review the script before running it)
At your choice:
wget
http://queleimporta.com/downloads/flash10_x64_en.sh && sudo chmod +x flash10_x64_en.sh && sudo sh ./flash10_x64_en.sh
- Option 2:
The easy but with more steps (While much safer). (Recommended for newbies):
1. Download the file:
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/labs ... .so.tar.gz 2.Unzip it (Remember to be located in the directory where the file came down):
tar zxvf libflashplayer-10.0.d21.1.linux-x86_64.so.tar.gz
3. Uninstall the old versions (if fitted):
sudo apt-get remove flashplugin-nonfree
4.Copy it to the Mozilla plugins folder:
sudo cp libflashplayer.so /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/
