Ultimate Edition 2.5 the graphics seem a little choppy.i tried out 2 dif drivers and no change, i could go back and load 2.4 to see if anything in xorg changed but decided to see if anybody has a clue? to maybe save some time.

i have nvidia 9500gt sli in 2.4 very smooth graphics with pretty much all of the nvidia drivers ,190.42,195.22 even the ocl drivers but after installing

i do understand what you are saying but my question is why no prob in ultimate 2.4 it is only in 2.5
and i have been running those drivers for some time now.it just isnt as smooth in 2.5 ill reload 2.4 and see what changes in xorg.

Little hint when using xorg...save your old one if your upgrading.

it is strange i reeloaded 2.5 and the same problem i looked at xorg from 2.4 and 2.5 they appear the same.
so i will try a few things and keep plugging away .

it is now fixed
an upgrade to kernel 2.6.31-17 has eliminated the problem.
